Looking for a delicious brunch with an amazing view? Fahrenheit is your place to go! Located in the 21st floor of the Hyatt Place Hotel, Fahrenheit offers a mouth watering brunch with a beautiful view of Uptown Charlotte.
Head chef of Fahrenheit, Rocco Whalen, is known for his inventive American style dishes. Fahrenheit offers dinner for an upscale fine dinning experience, but for those who want to try out the restaurant for a more wallet friendly option, brunch is a nice alternative. Today’s post focuses on Fahrenheit’s brunch option, but we’ll be sure to cover their dinner review in a later post!
Address: 222 South Caldwell Street on the 21st floor
Hours Sunday Brunch: 11am – 2:30pm
The brunch menu offers many traditional American breakfast options with a new inventive twist. Food options ranges from eggs, toast, pancakes and a variety of cocktails. What Fahrenheit is most known for is their Jumbo Cap’N Crunch Pancakes. For $13 you’ll get four pancakes topped with a vanilla milk reduction, powdered sugar and of course, lots of Cap’N Crunch. This delicious breakfast option will bring out the inner child in everyone!
You can view the full brunch menu HERE.
There are a variety of vegetarian options on the menu such as the Cinnamon French Toast Crunch Casserole or the Apple Salad.
Tale of the cocktail: our spin on the Mint Julep features old grandad bonded whiskey, ancho reyes chili liqueur, house mint syrup and fernet menta spray. New libations from mix master Bret coming to 21 soon. #summerdrink #cocktails #mintjulep #fahrenheitclt #rooftop #eatworkplayclt #charlottesgotalot
Fahrenheit is on the pricier side of the spectrum. You’re definitely not going to be paying Waffle House prices at this location. Many of the dishes range from $12 – $18 and their cocktails range from $7 – $14.
It should also be noted that if you do decide to visit, you do have to pay $7 to have your car valet at the Hyatt Place Hotel. On Sundays street parking is free so if you are looking to save a little extra cash I recommend snagging a metered parking and walking on over.
Overall Fahrenheit is a great place to visit if you are wanting an “in your face” view of Charlotte (which makes for some awesome Instagram photos!). It is a great higher class restaurant spot if you do want to treat yourself, but it does come with a steep price tag. The view is an obvious 10/10 and the food is a solid 9/10. The atmosphere is very nice and welcoming and the staff is always friendly when you do visit.
